Design code: PBZ-1920-ER

Handcrafted in sterling silver with genuine hand-painted miniature paintings/artworks enclosed between a silver plate and a glass front.

Chandra is the Hindu god of the Moon and is associated with the night, vegetation, and fertility. Surya is the Hindu god of the Sun. He is considered the creator of the universe, the source of all life, and the supreme soul who brings light and warmth to the world.

Chandra is white and lights up the night, while Surya is yellow (Pingala) and lights up the days. Day and night are two halves of a whole, and so are the sun and moon.

The seeming simplicity of their geometric form contrasts the soulful, poetic, and symbolic narration these earrings hold within. A pair that will take you from office to evening wear and start tons of conversations in between. Lightweight and super comfortable to wear, these also make a wonderful gift.

Dimensions: 5.3 cm long and 2.9 cm at the widest. Ear-hooks.

In a quaint home-cum-studio in Rajasthan, each miniature is deftly painted, using centuries-old techniques. Please allow for minor variations in the artwork and color, in keeping with their hand-painted nature.
